Location: South Queensferry, Edinburgh
We are an engineering contracting/consultancy company primarily working with prototype wave and tidal power devices, as well as other small industrial controls projects.
We build control panels and data acquisition boxes using modular industrial PLCs; integrate with motor controllers, hydraulic systems, weather stations, and battery management systems; design networks connecting offshore devices to the cloud via cellular modems, underwater fibre-optics, or VHF radio; and run cloud servers which distil hundreds of gigabytes of high-frequency data into easy-to-read web dashboards.

We are a multi-disciplinary team, and as such we can tailor a job role to the skills that you have. Depending on your speciality there may be plenty of opportunities to get hands-on with panels, sensors and equipment. You may occasionally be called upon to travel for site work, but the role is primarily office-based.
